Question, do you fix these Curtis 1238 6501 controllers. I lost communication due to a mistake. I toasted my hand held programmer and now I can't communicate to the controller with my computer programmer. The computer programmer still connects to my other controller. I opened the controller and saw no visible damage and there was no smoke and is no smell. Just need someone to look at it figure it out and fix it for me. Maybe the hand held too. That has some popped components but only three I could visibly see. I have no way to figure it out myself.

Well I am a mechatronic engineer but I don't have experience with this type of DC MOTOR CONTROLLER I have just worked with simples dc motors controllers... Well I have a problem, the D. C. MOTOR CONTROLLER has crashed and exploit from a cleaning cart. I have bought the module MODEL: 1228-2908... But when I installed to the car and connect all, it starts to going crazy because I think the module doesn´t have charge the program... I don't have the programmer, how can I do it...? Here is how I was able to remove those 5 brass terminals. Secure one terminal in the vice, grab the controller with both hands and start wobbling it out, until they separate. Repeat 5 times. No special tools needed and damage to the terminals in minimal.

Minor detail, A123 are LiFePo4 cells like the thundersky's, not lipo cells Cell lab 8 is a handy tool. Unfortunately mine is broken:-(
